In addition to his responsibilities at Holmes, Eric has also worked with many children’s choirs in North Carolina as conductor and consultant.  In the fall of 2015 he will take over as Conductor of the Lenoir-Rhyne Youth Chorus.  He has conducted All-County choirs in North Carolina and Virginia, and is a sought after clinician for professional development conferences.  As a performer, Eric has served as a Soloist for St. Francis Episcopal Church, chorus member for Greensboro Opera Company and presently as a singer in the Greensboro based Bel Canto Company.  Eric is also currently the Sanctuary Choir Director for First Baptist Church in Eden.  He is a member of the executive boards for the North Carolina American Choral Directors where he serves as the R&S chair for Middle Schools, and North Carolina Middle School Choral Section where he serves as the Technology Facilitator.   Eric has coordinated the past three Southern Division ACDA Honor Choirs, co-chaired the 2013 and 2015 National ACDA Children’s Honor Choir, and is excited to be coordinating the NC Sings!
